Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her most famous role is Skyler White on The AMC series Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress in Drama Series. In addition, she has played Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. Her passion for acting at Preparatory school after which she moved to Ohio with her family in mid-70s. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre as well as the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for a few years, prior to taking on film and television roles. In 1992, Anna landed her first big role as Arden in the 29th episode from Down the Shore. After being a guest Star in several TV Shows and films, such as Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 90's and was later cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. In 2008, she was as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in 2008. Sully and Deadwood was also a part of her acting career. Gunn also took to the stage in the David Schwimmer-directed production of Sex With Strangers. She played the role in the four-part podcast audio drama Numbered days, which came out in 2022. Breaking Bad is often built around Walter White's love affair with his wife Skyler. The strained relationship and eventual demise reflect the devastating end for Walter White.
